HAPPY CHRISTMAS (AND A MUCH HAPPIER ONE FOR KIDS IN REFUGE).
They say Christmas is for kids. Well, this year at the HPS Group, Christmas is for the KidsOut’s Giving Tree campaign. With the backing of our fantastic staff, we’ve decided not to send out a Christmas card to clients and friends this year, but to support a brilliant children’s charity instead.
DITCHING SECRET SANTA
In addition to putting our Christmas card budget to this great cause instead, the KidsOut’s Giving Tree initiative invites companies to ‘Ditch Secret Santa’ and use the money that would have been spent to buy toys for children in local refuge homes.
Many of these children have escaped domestic violence, being forced to flee their homes quickly and leave all their possessions behind. And, without Giving Tree, some of these children might not receive any Christmas presents at all.
43,000 PRESENTS DONATED
After the success of last year’s campaign, which saw over 750 companies donate 43,000 toys and £15,000, KidsOut are aiming to beat those figures this year.
