The hps Running Club took to the streets of Marlow for the first time this week in controversial circumstances. Despite being one of the strongest runners, Lynz was originally prevented from joining twelve other colleagues because, unable to strike the classic Usain Bolt pose, she completely mucked up the club’s PR photo.
Club Captain, Callum, explained: “After three hours of rehearsal, Lynz still couldn’t get the hang of pointing up instead of down. It made us concerned that she wouldn’t be able to put one foot in front of the other.”
After further consideration, the committee reversed their decision and allowed Lynz to take part in the first 3-mile canter. The club is split into two sections: Elite Runners on Tuesday evenings and Fun Runners on Wednesday evenings. All hps employees welcome, but please, please practice your ‘Lightning Bolt’ before turning up.
