hps Jardine are pleased as punch to announce that ESFA PlayStation Schools’ Cup has been shortlisted for three awards at the 2017 UK Sponsorship Awards, and the Best Brand Engagement Campaign award at the Performance Marketing Awards, a true reflection of this successful campaign that’s now in its fourth season.

Picture1-2.jpgHaving created 24 football tournaments for children aged between 12-16, engaging nearly 2,000 schools and providing 150,000 pupils the chance to experience the pride of representing their school, the events have attracted widespread national press activity as well as high-profile Premier League ambassadors.

With earned media coverage last season comprising 32 national TV features, 36 national newspaper articles, 185 regional newspaper articles and over four million views of YouTube videos from leading influencers, it’s fair to say the campaign made an impact with the media!

It’s made a huge buzz on social media too, with over two million views on the PlayStation Schools’ Cup YouTube channel and fantastic engagement rates well in excess of industry averages across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat.

Winner announcements

The 2017 UK Sponsorship Awards will be announced at the Gala Dinner on 28 March at the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square and the Performance Marketing Awards will be announced on 25 April at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London.
